1. Data controller / operator
CursorTalk is operated under the public business name AXXSHEN Software. The legal business name for this product is axxshen. Public development information is available on GitHub.
2. Product principle
CursorTalk processes spoken audio locally on your Mac. Dictation audio and transcribed text are intended to stay on-device during normal app use.
3. Data we may process
- Website analytics or delivery logs generated by your hosting provider
- Checkout and billing information handled by Paddle, including transaction records and customer email
- Licensing and anti-abuse metadata such as license key, installation_id, hardware_id, device name, activation timestamps, and entitlement refresh timestamps
- Support emails or messages you send voluntarily
4. Why we process it
- To complete purchases and issue license keys
- To activate CursorTalk on your Mac and restore paid access
- To run the free trial fairly and prevent repeated abuse
- To handle refunds, fraud checks, and support requests
5. Third-party processors
CursorTalk currently relies on third parties for distinct roles: Paddle for checkout and merchant-of-record billing, Supabase for license provisioning and webhook handling, and your chosen static site host for website delivery.
6. Retention
Licensing and transaction records may be retained for as long as needed to provide access, prevent abuse, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations. Support correspondence may be retained for the same purposes.
7. Your choices
You can request billing help, deactivation support, or privacy-related assistance by contacting support@cursortalk.app. If you no longer want your device activated, you can also remove the current Mac from within CursorTalk when that option is available.
